Hey Simone,
You are doing a super job with your journals. I feel like I could get around the ship just fine, although you may not have enough dramamine on board.

I was wondering how long it has been since you sighted land?...and maybe what you miss most about D.C./home?

btw...the bees say hello and are doing just fine with their recently crowned queen. Maybe you'll come home to some honey.

Yay bees!  Bees wouldn't do so well up here as all we have seen for the past 4 weeks is water or ice!  Land?  Oh, yeah that stuff with grass and trees?  Oh, but a faint memory!

Luckily, I am done with the seasickness meds.  I have only had 2 days of the spins but that is subject to change at any minute.  It usually happens when we have been in the ice for a while- holding steady- and then we pop back out into open sea.

I will be prepared this time and take the meds before I get sick! :)  What do I miss most about DC?  You know the answer to that- running OFF the treadmill!  Some people run laps around the ship but I'll fall overboard if I attempt that for sure!

Hope all is well in your neck of the ice, I mean woods!

Simone
