Zooplankton

Dear Mrs. Wheeler:
How do zooplankton survive before they are caught? Do you think they'll survive later on after you come back? How are you? Thanks for the postcard. I really liked it. Mrs. Stauffer said she saw one of what you saw hundreds. Was it the eagles?

Scientist John Nelson said that zooplankton swim around, eat and survive. Some are carnivores, one that eat other zooplankton; Some are herbivores, ones that eat only phytoplankton; And others are omnivores, ones that eat both zooplankton and phytoplankton. When plankton is collected to take back to the lab, it is preserved. Yes, I saw hundreds of eagles. Ms. Wheeler
