Did the polar bear mumma delay your departure?

How wonderful that you got to observe a mumma polar bear with her cubs! Just thinking of how uncooperative and unpredictable all wild animals can be sometimes...did they delay your departure from your base camp? Did you finally make it out?

I enjoyed reading your journal and seeing your pictures. Thank you so much for a peak into what research is happening up in Norway:)
