Spongy terrain?
Hey Mr. Wilder,
It’s Tifaney and I was just writing to ask you if the terrain was spongy-like because of the way you made it sound with the soaking pillows. You also said it was quite hard to walk around in, so you were probably grateful when you got back to camp because it was probably a little easier to walk in. Oh, what exactly is a bluff, like does it hold glaciers or help animals live or what?
Sincerely,
Tifaney Jones

Hi Tiffany
Good to hear from you.
The tundra can be very spongy where mosses are growing but it can also be very sloppy, like walking through the soupy mud. If your boots fit too loose, you can loose them to the muck.
A bluff is where the land and sea meet and, instead of a gradual slope to the sea, there is a drop off or relative steep slope down to the water.
