So are past students allowed to ask questions?

Well first off everything you are doing these days is amazing! I came across this and I loved reading your blog and looking at all the pictures. You are/were the best science teacher ever!! :)

I really just wanted to say hi, but I actually have a question. While in Alaska were you able to see the Aurora Borealis? My mother and I have been dying to go see it.

Aurora Borealis

Hi Cortney,

It is wonderful to hear from you and yes this Ask the Team is set up for anyone to ask questions - especially students- present and past!

How did you find this site anyway?

How are you?

I think it has been 2 years since I have seen you now- right? at Sunfest?

Where are you? - I guess I have questions too!

No, sadly I did not see the Aurora Borealis, but I really want to as well.

I hope to go back to Alaska sometime within the next year or so. I also want to experience 24 hours of night.

While I was in Alaska it was 24 hours of daylight -which is why I missed the Aurora.  I missed the Polar Bears too!

I have been getting reports from researchers who live there, that they are both in full swing right now!

Great to hear from you,
