I'm here in Christchurch, scheduled to fly to MacTown on the 29th.
So what can you tell us about the plane crash?

I am at the Windsor B&B. I am scheduled to go to ECW tomrrow, 28th. My science team is not here, because their flight was canceled. Do I need to take anything with me to CDC?

Arrival?
Great to see you and talk with you during our 15 minute shuttle ride to the airport and CDC. I take it everything went well?! I hope you made it to the ice. I will make sure to check in, things have just been a little busy since I arrived back. Take care and I'll be in touch!

Hey Kirk, looks like I'm just going to miss you. We just got word that our flight has in fact left Christchurch and is on its' way to deliver passengers to the ice and take us home. We should be back in CHC sometime late tonight as the flight down here was delayed a bit. Where are you staying? Not sure if we'll have a chance to meet up or not. Either way, good luck on your project. I will be following along closely!
As for the plane crash, I did know a couple people that were on the flight. I can tell you that no one was injured. For more information you may check out the following press release issued by the NSF a few days after the incident.
