Jackie, You are a true survivor! I hope someday we can meet and exchange "ice" stories!Dave's work has been very interesting to my class. It's hard for a student sitting in the sub-tropics to understand the challenges of work of the sorts that Dave and his team do, but you have done a great job of bringing it home to us!I hope we can follow-up after the expedition to see what he has learned from the ice cores he retrieved.

I am glad you incorporated Dave's work into your geology block. I definitely plan to follow up with Dave's research. It is extremely rewarding to know that I was able to convey the challenges that the team overcomes in order to drill in Beacon Valley.
This was an extraordinary experience for me. I hope to see you at NSTA and we can have a long chat.
